The location is perfect, only a short walk to major attractions. The room was clean but dated, could use some updating. Friendly staff and convenient bicycle rental nearby. It can get noisy from the street outside, so consider bringing earplugs.

Location is perfect, within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel is quite old and needs some updates. noise from the street can be bothersome. I appreciated the bicycle rental option nearby for exploring the area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and clean but notably dated. The air conditioning worked well, maintaining a comfortable temperature. The bed was adequate, although newer bedding could enhance the overall comfort. the noise level was disruptive at times, especially from Harry's Bar below. Shower water drainage was slow, which was inconvenient. The bathroom felt cramped, and the limited outlets made charging devices difficult. Towels were fresh, but the drapes showed signs of wear and dust. Despite its age, the room had a unique charm that added to the experience.

Close to everything, walking distance to major sights. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was decent.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but worth it in my opinion.

Location rocks; it's a block from Ford's Theatre. The staff are way friendly and even helped with my bags like I was royalty, plus the old-world charm is pretty cool!
But come on, the place could use a makeover.

Super friendly staff made the arrival seamless, even offering an early check-in. The location is unbeatable; just a walk away from major sights. The room was spacious and clean, with good amenities despite the hotel's age. the decor and some facilities clearly need updating. A smoke detector issue required a room change, but the staff handled it promptly and even upgraded me. Limited internet and sporadic towel service were minor annoyances, yet the warmth of the staff and the prime location outweighed these shortcomings. Perfect for a busy visit, but don’t expect luxury.

The elevator was out of service for two days, and climbing to the 7th floor after a long day of sightseeing was brutal. The hotel didn’t even bother to post a notice. We had to ask maintenance to find out!

Managed to survive the historic room full of character, like a trip back in time. Convenient location to explore the city. The Lobby Gift Shop was amusingly informative.
Rolled onto Washington’s preferred spot in the center of the bed.

During my stay, I was thrilled to discover that key landmarks such as the National Mall, the Smithsonian museums, and the Washington Monument were all within a short walking distance of less than 2 km, allowing for easy exploration and leisurely strolls through the city's vibrant atmosphere, plus a fantastic array of nearby dining options including Punjab Grill and Fogo de Chao, all just a few steps away; the crowds and noise were manageable, but the hotel could use some updates to enhance the overall stay.

Hotel Harrington offers a fantastic location just steps away from Ford’s Theater and the Metro center. The staff is genuinely helpful and welcoming. Our room was surprisingly spacious, making it a practical choice for exploring the city, despite some minor issues with amenities.

Location was great, within walking distance of monuments. Staff was helpful and friendly, especially Felipe who provided outstanding service.
The hotel felt outdated and in need of renovation. Room temperature and water control were problematic.

Location is excellent. Walkable to Pennsylvania Avenue and nearby museums. Hard Rock Café and Ford Theater are just around the corner. The on-site restaurant offers decent food, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel’s historic charm is appealing, but the building shows its age. Rooms are not modern but clean, with comfortable beds ensuring restful nights. renovation is crucial. Showers on higher floors have delayed hot water, and carpets require better cleaning. The air conditioning can be uncomfortably cold, and traffic noise seeps in. Breakfast options disappoint and are overpriced. This hotel serves well for those focused on sightseeing rather than room comforts.

We hit up the hotel's gift shop, got cool souvenirs, and snagged rad local tour tickets. Wi-Fi was lit, perfect for Snap streaks! The vibes were on point for our squad hangouts.
Only thing missing? A wicked rooftop party scene.

The location is super convenient, close to the major attractions in the city - just a short walk to the White House, Capitol, and museums. The staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel has a rich history, making it a unique stay. The restaurants served tasty meals, especially the burger, and the ambiance was cozy.
The overall condition of the hotel feels outdated, with old furniture, doors, and carpet. The room lacked proper temperature control, and the window insulation was poor, leading to discomfort.

Just wanted to share my experience staying at Harrington. The location was super convenient, close to key attractions and with a reasonable price tag. The front desk staff, especially Joseph, were fantastic and really made our late-night arrival smooth and welcoming. On the downside, the building could use some renovations. I noticed some issues like torn carpeting, draft from the windows, and issues with the bathroom. The room itself was decent but showing its age, with some jarring decor and furniture that felt a bit mismatched. I appreciated the efforts of the staff who were responsive, like when I needed help with the blinds late at night. not all staff members seemed equally enthusiastic about their roles, which was a bit off-putting. having only one power outlet in the room was a bit inconvenient. Though the room was clean, there were some maintenance issues like the shower temperature fluctuating and the lack of bottled water. The internet also didn't work during our stay, and the noise from the surrounding streets made it challenging to leave the windows open for fresh air. Harrington is a decent budget option for those who value location and affordability over luxury. Just be prepared for an old-fashioned vibe and some quirks along the way.

Guests can easily surf the net via the widely available Wi-Fi in the lobby area, ideal for browsing or planning further adventures.
In my wife's opinion, additional child-friendly amenities would be beneficial.
